We are excited to inform you about the launch of the new Mental Health and Addiction Community Sector Innovation Fund, which is now open through Te Whatu Ora. This fund presents a significant opportunity for creative spaces involved in the mental health sector to secure substantial central government funding.
For more details, visit the following links:
Given the fund's criteria and the documented impact of creative spaces mahi, particularly over the past three years, there is clear alignment. As this is a highly competitive fund, with large service provider organisations also applying, it would be strategic to highlight the innovative approaches that creative spaces offer.
An essential consideration is that the fund matches your contribution dollar for dollar, requiring a 50% commitment from applicants. Collaborating or partnering with like-minded organisations could be beneficial.
Interested stakeholders can direct their questions regarding the fund to shirley.lammas@tewhatuora.govt.nz. Additionally, a list of FAQs from previously asked questions has been published.
As always, we are here to provide feedback on draft applications and narratives, along with offering targeted letters of support. Email them to fundingsupport@artsaccess.org.nz
